Took about a week to install on my own. You will need a vacuum pump to evacute the refrigerant pipe. I order covers from Amazon to hide the tubing. It came out great in the end.

My husband and I moved into a new home and realized the hvac didn’t work . It would have costed over $5000 to get repaired . Thank God we saw this. Been over a year now and the heating and cooling on this is still great . It lasted up through freezing temperatures and the heatwave . May purchase another one too

Costway representative - Q:The 2 aluminum coils are to short for my installation. 13 ft supplied and I need 20 ft of each. How do I go about ordering the longer coils?A:We do not have longer line set.

Generally, it is caused by high or low voltage. Customers should prioritize checking whether the power supply voltage matches and whether the power cord is connected correctly 2. If the wind speed of the external fan blades is too fast, you can try replacing the external fan to see if it still reports "LF" (video judgment is required) If there are no problems after the above troubleshooting, it is recommended to check whether the wiring of the external PCB board is loose, whether the circuit board itself is damaged or broken, and if necessary, it is recommended to find a professional to replace it

Costway representative - Q:What does "AUTO" mode do on the remote? I read the instruction manual and it doesn't say what it actually does. Once you set the mini-split to auto mode it doesn't allow you to set a Temp using ^/V arrows, so if it's meant to set it automatically to a certain temperature I'm not sure how to make that work.A:After turning on the auto mode, press the ventilation mode to force low air in the first 20 seconds, after that the machine will determine the operation mode according to the ambient temperature inside and outside the room. You cannot adjust the temperature by yourself in auto mode.

Or stated otherwise, how do you actually use it to "AUTO" stay near a desired temperature? I'm hoping that I can set a temp, say 68*F and have it AUTO stay around that temperature. What do I have to do to automatically maintain the set temperature?Q:Is there any mode that will allow me to set a desired temperature which the AC will maintain?A:You can adjust the temperature with the button 'temperature adjustment' or select the automatic mode.
