This paticuliar brand cattio was ok for the money. Would not buy again. I would look at a manufacturer that has some heavier duty construction. The braces are all brad nailed not screw construction. The shelves are 1/8\" plywood and warpped easy. Not solid wood like other cattios. If you see from the photos I attached we needed to install some center bracing on the shelves and a center 2x2 to stabilize the 3 shelves. As my cats walked on them they just flexed and bowed. My heaviest cat is 10lbs. Door locks and hinges are not a very good quality, but that is my fault..other cattios were more expensive I assume that there hardware is better quality. So overall this cattio is ok and great on a tight budget. But not as solid and durable as some other brands. Construction went easy, and assembly was pretty simple. But the extra 2 hours beefing it up was annoying. My wife and i will simply use this cattio untill we save money for a better one. Or i will just build one on our deck.

I\'m so glad I bought this toy! I read quite a few comments and decided on this one. This one is sturdy, well made, the wire mesh is very strong, the label is well attached and easy to assemble. Took about two hours to assemble. I love those doors; They slide very well and the hinges are strong. I put a cat in there for now. But I\'m sure as some cats get used to it, they\'ll like it. This is one worth buying.

large and functional. Big doors to move things in or out and enable the cleaning. other...instructions were okay if you assembled items before. If you have not, lay part out and look for the screw holes. it will save you time later. for factory inst...recommend providing 2 12" zip ties and directing them to be used while assembling to keep doors shut. This will prevent possible damage to door hinges. Also matching colored dots on inner frame and shelf brackets to ensure shelves are placed in the recommended location.

Wood is kinda flimsy but it works for my cats. Overall it\'s sturdy once put together.

Definitely not strong shelves if your cat or critter weighs more than 5 pounds. My babies are about 10-12 and shelves are buckling from their naps. Also screws are way to short to keep shelves in place. Beyond that it's great. I love it. Just wish proper size screws and stronger shelves.
