    Awesome kayak!

I’ve been waiting to leave a review until I took this kayak out a few times and I am very happy with this purchase!! The portability and sturdiness of the kayak is amazing! Plenty of room for everything you need to bring out on the water! I did a lot of searching for an inflatable kayak and I am glad I went with this one! If you are patient and take your time learning how to fold it back up properly it fits in the bag just fine with the seats as well don’t listen to these other reviews on that! I definitely recommend this kayak if you are looking for an inflatable! And I plan to buy another to get more of the family out on water! Thank you!

    Great value for the price!

This is my first inflatable kayak, so set up and inflation solo took some time, but with practice, will definitely go faster next time. After some trial and error, I partially inflated each of the two sides before placing and inflating the floor piece. Then I inflated the 2 sides the remaining way full. ~Tip: twist and quickly pull the pump hose straight out after inflation, so the pin is in the up (closed) position. This prevents deflation upon disconnecting the pump hose. The kayak is well made and handled great in a busy and wavy lake. The seat supplied is comfortable ( I only used one in the rear of the kayak). I stored my gear up front. I only used one skeg in the rear, which worked great. The manual pump works well. I used and electric pump for deflation. I have my own carbon fiber paddle, so I didn\'t need the 2 sets that were provided. I was able to repack everything into the large, sturdy carry bag. I like the portability and easy transport of this kayak. I camp a lot and can\'t store or transport a hard shell kayak. Overall, this is a great kayak that I plan to use often on rivers and lakes throughout the year. Very satisfied with my purchase!

    High quality and great design

I spent a decent amount of time researching many different inflatable kayaks. I was looking for quality built, expected durability and safety construction design. I have to say the Goplus kayak has made all of the check boxes. It has the high strength structure design with the adjustable foot rest that can enhance paddling performance. The two adjustable EVA seats are very comfortable with the high back support, also the built in pouches behind the seat are good for personal belongings storage. The setup and teardown are straight forward. Also it consists of a drain hole to avoid excess water in the boat. The whole kayak is very lightweight, portable, easy to transport and take up minimal space for storage. The overall built of this kayak is durable and stable with the separate chamber construction design for safe rowing. I am very pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend this product for everyone who loves kayaking.

    Not perfect but petty good

Here are some thoughts on this boat after several uses, including a 2 night, 48 mile river trip with class 2 rapids. <> Build quality - The construction is the same as a normal inflatable SUP. That\'s way better than a normal cheap inflatable, but probably not quite as durable as an expensive raft/IK. <> Capacity - We used one to ferry people across a river to a hot spring. Up near its 500 lb weight limit, it doesn\'t handle that well and you need to stay on flat water. With a smaller load you can do more. It was great in the big waves of a class 2 rapid with just one 70 lb kid + 40 lbs of cargo and might even be able to handle some class 3. With that small of a load we were able to keep the floor drain open so that water that washed in could go back out. I don\'t think you could have a much heavier load before you\'d need to keep it closed. It definitely needed to be closed with 500 lbs. <> Seat - The back support isn\'t too bad. The bottom pad is thin. You could improve it by sticking a soft seat cushion under it. <> Paddle - I wasn\'t a fan. I like flat blades, but to each their own. The included paddles work fine. The clamp might not last forever. We used a different kayak paddle on our 48 mile trip. <> Other random thoughts - 1) I\'d like to have more tie down points. The only points are for the seats. 2) The paddle holders on the sides are nice for holding the paddles, but I might cut mine off because I bump my hands on them when paddling. 3) I drilled small holes in the tip of the plastic end caps at either end for draining so I can get all the water out by standing it up before deflating, or for drying by hanging it from my tree using a pulley. It does dry reasonably well on the ground as long as you pull the floor out, which is not a problem. 4) No comment on the pump. Unless a fitness guru and will only ever be inflating 1 boat, then you should buy an electric SUP pump.

Budget inflatable with high end features but poor accessories

I started Kayaking last year and do not have room or desire to have a hard shell kayak and my first inflatable was an Intex K1 a Green little kayak for 80 dollars. It did what I needed it but lets be honest it\'s a pool toy and it developed a leak at the seem after a few uses. I run a small river here that can get shallow in places only has class 1 or 2 rapids. I also use it on lakes in the area. I then got a sea eagle 370, and to be honest it was bigger and still is a little better pool toy but can fit 2 people but I wouldn\'t feel comfortable taking that on the river so I use for only lakes. I then discovered that there are much nicer inflatables that have high pressure drop stitch floors. High quality inflatable sides thick so punctures are least likely on rocks etc. However the price goes up from like $80-300 for the pool toy kayaks up to 800+ to around$1200, for the nice ones which is understandable. I was looking at the Driftsun 220 Rover and Sea Eagle 380X, before purchasing this and these are also tandem so I can take my girlfriend along to the river etc and feel confident the kayak will last years not months. I came across this kayak and noticed it has the high end features of the more expensive models listed here, similar design , high pressure drop stitch floor , foot rest etc. The price however is a fraction of these other models with these features so rather than buy another pool toy I decided to give this a try. I will update when I use it on water but I received and first impressions are it seems of good quality. It is a little hard at first to set up having to figure out the inflatable system. #1 the pump was pretty useless and huge like a bicycle pump, I ended up using my Driftsun 120 Rover pump which was much more compact and efficient but also uses the same nozzles for inflation , so I would recommend investing in a good hand pump. 2nd The other challenge was I would have it inflated to pressure but as soon as I disconnected the pump all the air came out. It took me a while to figure out there is a button on the kayak port nozzles you click them kind of like a pen, click once it is open click again it is closed, however you never really know what position it is in without a little air in it first ,the trick is to click into the open positions before you attached the pump as when you attach the pump it then will depress the button so when you remove the pump after inflation it is in the closed position otherwise all the air comes out when you disconnect. Once I figured this out the kayak actually inflated with a good quality hand pump very fast, much faster than a Intex or sea eagle pool toy quality Kayak. There are 3 total chambers to fill up including the drop stitch floor and it took maybe 10 min total to fill to pressure, once you know how to operate the ports. You fill the sides to 2psi and then place the deflated drop stitch floor and tuck under the pontoons on the inside then pump up the drop stitch floor to 7 to 8 PSI and the floor is hard and firm. So far raft quality is five stars from what I can see , pump is 1 star it\'s huge and doesn\'t work well. Ok next took a long time to figure out and here is where quality is missing. The seats are cheap uncomfortable and I spent a good amount of time trying to adjust them to get them in a good position for two people. As I was installing one of the seats I noticed the stitching on one of the seats was pulling away where there was tension. The foot rest on the rear seemed to be in a decent position but the front was way too close to be of any use even in the max distance if you have two adults. I sat in the seats and my back was sore after a few min just testing them out. Feels like just sitting on the ground due to the drop stitch floor. Ok granted I was used to a pool toy kayaks with inflatable seats so I think the take away here is to also invest in a good quality seat and cushion. The two skeg design is a head scratcher I already know I\'m not putting the front skeg in only the rear for lakes and no skeg on rivers. The bag it comes with is not very good , better than Intex but doesn\'t compare to the Driftsun backpack style , I ended up storing this in a sea eagle shoulder bag you can buy on Amazon. Would recommend folding the edges then rolling this to store as trying to duplicate the fold they shipped in seems like it will frey the edges of the material and possible create a tear or hole over time. So in summary , good quality on the kayak itself love the paddle holders , very long kayak and much bigger than I expected. So def worth the price but you will need a better storage transport bag , better pump , and better seats , so you save money here but expect to spend money to get this to be on par with more expensive models. I also learned to get your own paddle no matter what kayak you purchase as that makes a huge difference, yes they come with paddles but if anything invest in a good quality paddle sized right , longer paddles help with inflatables most are flimsy and way to short. Even with purchasing additional better items for this I think this may be a ok trade off as you can select your seat and bag and paddle and that can move to any future kayak and this still is cheaper than the higher end ones by a large margin. If you can get a Driftsun Rover 220 on sale it might be a better buy but for now this $320 kayak is much cheaper than the $899 Driftsun 220 Rover even with extra purchases mentioned here. The other downside to this is only one drain port so don\'t expect to be doing any serious white water rafting , class one and two would be fine and I think this may actually be nice on the lake as it\'s a nice long and narrow inflatable. I\'ll update when I take this out on water and give my impressions but for now I would say 4 stars as you get a good quality boat but sacrifice other amenities in the process, but if you want to try this style of inflatable kayak I think this is the cheapest you can get with these kind of high quality features on the kayak and for me that was the deciding factor.

    A:
The material is not PVC. It is 6CM mesh material. The quality of PVC is very poor, and we do not produce it.

Can one person paddle this? Can the seats be adjusted to the middle for one person?
    A:
    Yes,it can.

  • Q:
The air gauge on the pump doesn\'t register any pressure, the needle doesn\'t move. There is no glue in the repair kit.
    A:
This product does not include glue. The pressure is to be 7PSI or more for the gauge to show pressure.Because the glue belongs to the prohibited goods, we can not send , so it is not included, you need to buy your own.

  • Q:
The gauge on the pump is not functioning so we cannot tell what psi we are inflating to. Also, the clips on the paddles are loose It’s relatively easy to pull the paddle end off even with clips fastened securely.
    A:
The pump\'s pressure gauge doesn\'t show until it reaches 15 or more.Could you try pumping it a couple more times? The pulp plate how to tighten, see this video https://youtube.com/shorts/IZYPfJRd53M
